It really is not necessary to quote messages in able to respond to them. Repeatedly doing so just clutters a thread and makes them unreadable.

I see what you are saying Ken. If it's a very long quote that is repeated several times, it can be difficult to follow. However not everyone knows how to attract the attention of the person they are responding to. If you use "quote" then it alerts them automatically. What I tend to do is pick out the relevant bit and highlight it in a colour. Then I alert the person by putting @ before the user name they joined the group with. Yours is elken not ken. It's best to check the name in "members."

You’re absolutely right Larika and I commend to others the way that you cut, paste and edit your responses.
Yours is an example for all to follow.

I noticed that in "quick reply it is impossible to insert a picture. Consequently I use "quote", and erase most of the quote.

Rather than use Post Quick Reply or Quote simply use Reply which you will find at the top right of the dialogue area. Simple.

Rather than use Post Quick Reply or Quote simply use Reply which you will find at the top right of the dialogue area. Simple. I like Quoting. That way if people change their original post, the thread still makes sense.
