So, I received a copy of one of my books the other day. I love it! It looks great. Therefore, I went to Lulu to approve it for global distribution. When I tried, the website created a Version 2 of my book instead of approving it. I tried twice more and have ended up with the original Version 1 still awaiting approval for distribution and 3 duplicate versions wanting me to purchase proof copies to approve for distribution. I sent a message through their help system, but have yet to receive a response. 2 of them show Private Access & 2 of them show General Access. I don't know what to do.

That's one of my complaints. Try to do anything you get more revisions that you can't delete. It was much simpler on the old site and you could delete the old versions. Don't go through the wizard to approve the book, just click on the very last page and you should be able to approve there at the bottom.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by, "Don't go through the wizard to approve the book, just click on the very last page and you should be able to approve there at the bottom." It only lets me open the Version 4. Version 1 is the original that needs to be approved. Their website is so messed up now. When I click on my book, it takes me to the page that shows all the versions. I can't select any of them. I only have the option at the top to Revise Version 4. This is so ridiculous. I don't know what to do and I have yet to receive a response from Lulu.

I answered in another post you had. But I'll put it here also. If I remember correctly you should go to "Projects" then scroll down to your book's link. To the right where it says retire/revise there should be an option there to approve the book. It will appear as soon as your book was shipped out.To my knowledge unless you completed others revisions or ordered other proofs then the first one should be the one that gets approved.
