Can’t be much publishing going on at the moment when the only topic is about scams.

Can’t be much publishing going on at the moment when the only topic is about scams. At the moment I'm enjoying some quiet at home since the rest of the house is asleep. It allows me to think about the direction of a novel, while also contemplating the impact an upcoming weather pattern will have on work I need to do outside. There is also waiting to hear back on the novel I submitted to a Traditional Publisher last May, planning how to get my seven-year-old more motivated with her reading as well as how to get the three-year-old and the four-and-a-half-year-old to be a bit more cooperative. In short things to do which may or may not have any bearing on writing. Other people being quiet may indicate they're actually busier writing or getting ready to publish, which is a good thing. Now if you really want to be occupied, young children will do a good job of keeping you from getting much done. Trust me, I'm living it. Now back to my kaffee, before the replacements [or any one of them] wake up and start talking.

I have two traditionally published books either recently out or about to be released, if that counts.

Can’t be much publishing going on at the moment when the only topic is about scams. Talking about publishing I am amazed at the support from Draft2Digital. Today I got a comprehensive list of the downloads of my free ebook "Let's be Kind". It included the countries and places from which the book was downloaded. jesusninja maybe you could try them. Customer Services respond quickly. In D2D you can publish ebooks and print books and they distribute the books globally. It's so easy to make a book in this site.

A weekly FaceTime is the closest we get to any is the nearest we get to any. I'm not sure what FaceTime is but it sounds rather unpleasant and painful. What's funny is I have grandkids I'll likely never see growing up at the same time as the three children I'm dealing with now.
And since the spouse just got up I need to take her some kaffee.

FaceTime is like Skype. It’s a video telephone call where each person on the line can see each other as well as talk to one another. It allows a number of people at each end, thus my wife and I can see and talk with our grand children and their kids all at the same time. It’s a useful tool for families in different parts of the world and it’s quite safe.
Oh, and by the way it’s free to install and use as it uses the Internet, connection speed is not really important so anyone in the world (not Miramar) should be able to use it.

I've heard of Skype, used something like it a few times last time my spouse went TDY.
It's good you get to talk with your replacements, not everyone is so lucky.
With luck this year or next we can take the kids to visit the graves of dead relatives cause it's a bit hard chasing down the live ones worth talking with, too much ground to cover.

I have used Skype, Facetime and Zoom this past year, all successfully. In fact, I participated in a Zoom science fiction convention several months ago and will be taking part in another next weekend. It's all pretty easy to use and a lot of fun!

I am correcting my Tagalog grammar in English (once more), and trying a comic in 6x9" format.

This is the reason I got Facebook so that I could video link with friends and relatives on Facebook's Messenger. However I recently got scammed and I rather think it was connected to Facebook. I quickly changed all my passwords. PS Android phones can't FaceTime with iPhones nor can you Facetime with a Chromebook.
