We're all used to bashing Lulu, but I like to give credit where it's due
Today, I receieved a message from a customer in the Netherlands; his book had not arrived after sx weeks
(my business model is that customers pay me and I order the books on their behalf - obviously there is a price difference between what they pay me and what I order the book for).
The book wasn't tracked - this is the first problem I've had - tracking is more reliable, but adds a big cost.
I opened up a support ticket to Lulu. They replied in - half an hour!
They are offering to send a complementary replacement book and to pay for an upgraded tracked delivery!

(It was perhaps noted that I'm a good customer and they want to keep me happy, as I think I've ordered 40 of these books since Xmas and tomorrow I hope to learn about my Amazon sales, as it will be the 17th of the month)

My only complaint with Lulu has been the disastrous site update which cost me lots of money. But Lulu as a company are not that bad. I've had cases where the book didn't print correctly and Lulu would send me a new copy for free. They printed out the wrong version once and sent me a replacement free too. Other than the site problems this past year Lulu does have it's good points. Glad it worked out for you. Just to add I found it strange there was no tracking. I always get a tracking number from them even using the slowest shipping method.

In terms of tracking, what have noted is that for US customers, the cheapest method of posting will bring up a tracking method where I can track every step of the package. However, for most other countries, a tracking button is still present on the tab, but when clicked, provides little or no information. I am not sure why this is.
