Cameron, again I had to use Google translate. I didn't even try on my own this time. Past 5pm and my brain is in rest mode:
News Reporter: My President, can you tell us more about the crime you are accused of?
The President of Playa de Dos Lunas: How many times do I have to tell you that there was no crime? It was a perfect conversation, read the transcript.
News Reporter: My President, It was a summary, more than fifteen minutes were blocked ...
The President of Playa de Dos Lunas: It doesn't matter, he agreed to marry my ugliest daughter after I told him that he would pay for a plastic surgery to make her less horrible. This doesn't sound like extortion ...
News Reporter: My President, The Chief of Drug Traffickers suffered a heart attack on wedding night, according to reports, after she took off her clothes with the lights on ...
The President of Playa de Dos Lunas: I always said I was really ugly, how much do you think plastic surgery changes?

Just give him the damn hamburger dammit! He's hungry. And go do your own smearing you rich b**tch.
Now I'm getting out of hand.
Oh, and while you're at it DT, stop grabbing women! It's rude.

Ah, Google translate isn't quite right. El Presidente de Playa de Dos Lunas said he would pay for the surgery just as he said she [his daughter] was really ugly.
The reference to Plata o plomo is a Latin American reference to a deal you can't refuse, either take the money [plata] and do the deed or accept the bullet [plomo] instead.
You can create a story narrative very easily from bits and pieces of current and past events, even if you don't have access to a SCIF.
As for paying for my writing, few have chosen to do so though there is a certain amount of humor in my work.
Perhaps I'm too acerbic...

But as we both agree it's better left for a different forum. Literature can and must be very political in certain cases. Political views can, under certain circumstances, get the wrong end of the stick. This forum is about self publishing. Therefore I would like to suggest that politics here is limited to the promotion of one's own political novels and non-fiction books in the announcements and promotion section. For people who live in a direct democratic country almost everything is political, because sooner or later they have to vote on it. That is why I would like to make it clear: By politics, which can be inappropriate here, I mean discussions about politicians and political proposals that are on the agenda (referendum, parliament, or similar). Far be it from me to patronise anyone, but I would like to prevent us from inadvertently annoying someone to the point of making him leave the forum.

I always wanted to discuss relgion. I even took a course on "Man's Religious Quest" at University. Still I learned that this topic is a very sensitive one and I think its best to limit discussions on religion. People have very firm beliefs and can be quick to anger.
