So, how about it? The Self Pub Hub? Any other suggestions? I like it.
Here's Ron new banner. I think it's sharp and "rushy."

It could mean you have a 'pub' at home. It's what drinkeries are called in the UK. Public Houses.

Maybe something like this will make people realise it's not a public house but a place for writers. In England a pub is a public house as Kevin said (An establisment for the drinking of alcohol and eating food) I like the catchy title Ron thought up.

I am sure that there will be thousands who will think that the site is about setting up pubs at home. (Is that even a thing?) And what in the world would a "self pub" be? Someone who turned themselves into a tap?

And what in the world would a "self pub" be? Someone who turned themselves into a tap? I asked Google what a "self pub" was and all the sites said it stood for self publication, so I'm sure people will understand self pub and won't think it's a group of drinkers who have set up pubs in their homes.

Well there goes any thought I might have had for setting up a pub at home, dang it.

Come to think of it setting up a home pub would pose the same issue for me as hosting a family reunion. Half the kin would be competing at selling the 'water of life' while the other half would in the 'who can still stand up after closing down the bar' competition, and everyone complaining about the prices set.
Not sure I care to ponder what all the chilren would be up to while everything else was going on.

In Ireland a lot of pubs are in peoples' homes, often in just one room. I assume they still need a licence though. But anyway. What about Self-Publishing Muse? Or Self-publishing Oracle? But it's often not the site/page title that attracts search engines but the hidden metatags. Can they be used on this site?
