I'm so glad I found this forum! I lost sleep last night wondering what was going on, and suspected it was on Lulu's side when my ebooks all went AWOL from Amazon earlier this week. Thank you all for your persistence in trying to figure out what happened. Like many of you, I'm in the midst of some active promotions and this timing couldn't be worse. Shame on Lulu for not advising us ahead of time that the planned this switch, so we could be prepared.

Amazon found one of mine and put it back up but lost all ranking and reviews. I'm still missing three or four ebooks including my top selling one. Lulu is once again costing me income. And still have not received any notice by them on this matter nor gotten a reply to my messages to support. This whole upgrade has been nothing but once fubar after another.

There should be notification on the very front page of the site if not an email. Lulu never does that. They all continued to get paid while the rest of us are at the mercy of their badly timed upgrades and site changes. And if you are "new" to Lulu you probably don't realize the forum used to be on the site. People could go there to get answers and help. They removed that too. Another badly planned move on their part.

It's now been a week since LuLu pulled this underhanded crap, yanking all of our books from Amazon with no warning. I'm still missing 4 of my 13 books. Are any of you still missing yours?

Why did they yank them from Amazon? Out of the loop. Been travelling for a week. According to someone here Lulu was supposed to contact everyone by email and let them know what's going on. I actually discovered by accident what it is. I posted it on here elsewhere. But Lulu got rid of the core distribution service which sends our books to smaller out of the way bookstores online. They now are connecting them directly to Lulu to Amazon, Kobos,Scribd,Barnes and Noble, and Apple. I think that's all. So no more sales to the smaller stores. But Lulu claims it will be less profit sharing so more profit. I see less sales. Their move removed most of our ebooks from Amazon for the last two weeks costing us income. I've written Lulu three times and heard nothing. I did find my books on Amazon with ISBN searches. Then contacted Amazon Support and asked them to relink the ebooks with their paperback versions on my author's page. So far they have replaced all of them but one. I had to rewrite them and remind them of that one. One of the books though lost all rankings and reviews when they relisted it. This latest move by Lulu is just one more Fubar this year. I'm surprised that I got Amazon to do this, as since the KDP merge they never do anything I ask. I got lucky. So you might too.

Another badly planned move on their part. Recently too they removed any chance of live contact. We used to be able to have an on line conversation with a Lulu person here help.lulu.com/s/contactsupport?language=en_US but now that too has gone. When you do fill in the form provided on that page and send it to them, Lulu sends you an automatic response which you then have to reply to, saying your problem still hasn't been resolved. Eventually they will answer your specific enquiry. sigh!
