All but one of my books on Amazon in the Kindle version have vanished, although paperbacks are available. Anyone else having this problem? Hopefully it's temporary and I have sent an email query via Author Central.

One of my Lulu paperbacks (with ISBN and Global Distribution) is missing from Amazon although it is available at Barnes & Noble. I had an on-line chat with Lulu who said that, if it's available at B&N, then it must be an Amazon problem. I've not yet had time to dig deeper yet.

All of my ebooks have vanished from Amazon as well, all that's there are the paperback versions. Sounds like it might not be an actual LuLu issue since my ebooks are showing up at other distributors. But Amazon better get this fixed ASAP!

All of my books are available in print, but the Kindle versions are missing apart from my latest book. Still awaiting a reply from Amazon UK.

You too, Jamielynn? Strange, but maybe it is a technical issue with Amazon.

Yes, me, too. I'm kind of glad it's not just me, but I'd really like an answer. No response yet from either LuLu or Amazon itself. No other authors I know are having this problem. Only ones that use LuLu. So I'm leaning toward it not being an issue with Amazon, unfortunately. I have 13 books that are gone and every minute they're gone are lost sales opportunities!

Sirram - how were you able to have an online chat with Lulu? I can no longer find their Live Chat box on their website. All of my books are still missing from Amazon and I really need to get a resolution to this! Thanks so much!

I just received this unbelievable reply from Lulu:
"Thank you for contacting our support team at Lulu. My name is Hannah and I am happy to help.
Lulu is updating the internal system that is used to globally distribute ebooks on Amazon. Your ebooks are still in Amazon's system and will re-list within 1-2 weeks.
I apologize for any inconvenience this causes and greatly appreciate your understanding."
ONE TO TWO WEEKS?? This is insane!! They're taking away my income! I have promotions scheduled! And they couldn't bother to let any of us know that our books were going to VANISH? I am so upset I want to cry.

Before the flubgrade Lulu Press didn't bother to notify most users about all of what was going away, so this isn't a big surprise.

Just one more reason that come next year I'm going to be done with LuLu completely. I'll publish my books myself through Amazon, B&N, Kobo, etc.

I've been doing my kindle versions through KDP all along, since Lulu Press didn't have an agreement with Amazon to convert ebooks when I started.
If you plan to move your print or electronic versions, you'll need to retire them at Lulu Press.

Here is the response from Amazon. Thank you for your mail.
You brought to our attention that the kindle edition of your books are not appearing online.
I went through your Author Page and could see this issue as only one ebook was appearing: "Testimony of the Dead."
I would recommend you to check with your publisher if any issue on their side; if not, please check again after 24 hours, and if the issue persists please write back to us through the secure link below, so we'll investigate further:
I read your post regarding Lulu's response, Jamielynn and will contact them. 1-2 weeks? An absolute disgrace. Thirty-one of my books are unavailable. I doubt I'll publish another book with Lulu.

Lulu's online chat is only available during US office hours. The web page is help.lulu.com/s/contactsupport?language=en_US with the online chat button at the bottom-right of the screen. However, checking that page just now, even though it is currently US office hours, the online chat button is not visible. I don't know why.

After I responded back to LuLu's email response to me, reading them the riot act over this, I received yet another ridiculous reply: "Lulu will be notifying our authors of this change shortly. I believe that our Distribution Team at Lulu was under the impression that the ebook transition would take an hour or 2. We were taken by surprise as well! We sincerely apologize for how this situation was handled. I would love to provide the link to give feedback on this experience: feedback.lulu.com/If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let me know! Have a great day! Best, Hannah DC. Lulu Press, Inc." Oh, NOW you're going to notify all of us that are books are gone?? Over 12 hours since we all discovered it ourselves?? Unbelievable! And no, I still have not received anything from LuLu explaining this mess. Yet another lie! I've reached my limit with LuLu now. I'll be gone come the beginning of next year.

I just checked mine. Three of my ebooks are missing and not linked to the paperback version. I could not find them using isbn's either. But did happen to stumble on one of the ebooks by accident. So it was there but not linked to the paperback or searchable by ISBN. Contacted both Amazon and Lulu. Waiting...At least it's not just me but this doesn't look good and will cost us money if they don't fix it. Most of my sales are from ebooks not paperback.
