So, I'm curious... Does anyone here have an Amazon Author Page? If so, is it worth the trouble? Just wondering.

Just wondering. www.amazon.co.uk/Elizabeth-Keimach/e/B00POWUBBM/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_0www.amazon.com/-/e/B00POWUBBM?ref_=pe_584750_33951330I have an author page in Amazon UK and one in the American Amazon, however my ebooks are free in the UK Amazon and cost $.99 in the American Amazon. I used to get most of my downloads from Amazon but it has slowed down since the USA Amazon changed my free eBooks to $.99. However whether the downloads and book sales came from the author page or from within the Amazon site I don't know. However making an author page is free and may boost your sales and downloads.

I have one in the US and one in France. The US one is better because it shows sales statistics, etc. A few weeks after I have released a new title, I have to enter it in US Amazon. From there my list of books is updated all over the Amazon network.

The sales tracking feature is a nice sanity check on Lulu's reporting. That alone makes it worth the time.

You are all so wonderful! Thank you so much for always being there. Hugs to you all. There are many advantages to it. Having Author Central Page allows people to sign up for updates you may have or new books out under that name. You can also link a blog to it, add video, and a photo of yourself with a blurb about yourself. One thing many don't think about is, that you can add key words describing your book that will show up during searches. That's why many times you get results during searches that have nothing to do with what you are looking at. It also allows you to link and show all of your books under that name on one page so potential buyers can see them all.

Yes, I have author pages on UK and .com. I check for sales almost every day, but they never seem to tally with Lulu's sales. According to Lulu, I had two sales in January. That nine in the last three months. What a joke. From averaging around forty per month before this change, to this. I have sent them a query, but I'm not holding my breath. If the sales were true and reflected my books, so be it. Someone somewhere is profiting from my sales.

Please share their response with us Hulsey, if you get one. You are not the only one with doubts and questions.

The Author Page used to have a book sales page. Does it still have that? It would also show where the books sold. I've not noticed that lately. I do know it only shows paperback book sales not ebooks. And it is only 75 percent accurate according to Amazon.

Yes, the weekly sales rollup is posted every Friday by noon, uh... Pacific time, if I recall. I usually check it on Saturdays. It is interesting to see geographically where the books are going.

I found out after creating my Amazon Author Page that the one book I have so far released through them for Kindle will not link to my paperback because the paperback is from a different distributor. Isn't that ridiculous? So, my paperback version is listed on one product page and my Kindle version on a different page. Makes no sense to me at all. I would think they would want to link them to make it easier for customers to find both formats and choose their preferred.
