adrianallan I enjoyed the Beatles but hadn't really followed Wings because by then I was married with 2 children and living in the States. However I listened to your interview and found it very interesting. I liked the songs you chose. Paul McCartney is a very talented man. Good luck with your book.

You know, I did start off by doing this - but it got taken down. The issue was something along the lines that I was "imitating a known person", when it was perfectly obvious that it was a book about a known person. It was called "Paul McCartney after the Beatles: A Musical Appreciation", the name of my first book in the series. I know somebody else that this happened to. So I decided it was less troublesome to name a page after myself - I had to start again from scratch, of course. |

When I launch a new title, I add it to the page "Jean-Paul G. POTET, author", where it remains permanently, with the others, and I advertise it separately in a dedicated post that I share.

It's almost the same: paulmccartneyafterthebeatles.comI don't believe for a minute somebody from him team decided to complain to Facebook, as it's happened to a few people using both his name and other well-known names. It seems that most of the decisions made on Facebook are automated (such as blocking or fact-checking posts) and it's impossible to ever talk to a real person. |
