I know there are few online links to this topic - I have read most of them.
I am more interested in what worked for you. Have you done an online book launch event? These will become more and more the norm in Covid and post-Covid times.
I am toying with the idea of an a Facebook live interview.
Next week I will be launching the first ever book covering the touring years of Wings. I have used vast amount of primary source material and have collated many fan accounts.
Let me know what worked for you.

Let me know what worked for you. Never done it, but my advice? Seven places, seven times everywhere. I read in a marketing piece somewhere that you have to see or hear something seven times to remember it or even stop and look. It's the magic number. |

Thanks - Facebook is the main place for me - I can possibly think of four relevant FB pages to post it to. I will have a think about other social media. The other issue is directing traffic. I could put it somewhere on the internet that has few visitors but to no avail. The other thing I though of was one of the FB promotions where if you share the post, you are automatically enrolled with a chance to win a prize. Does anybody know how those schemes work from the viewpoint of the seller? i.e. How do I keep tabs on who has shared the post? |

Call the local radio station. Sell it on Etsy. It is huge. Free to set up. |

Local Radio - I was on Radio Merseyside a couple of years ago. I will have another go at reaching out.
Facebook - I have tried the ads, but to little effect. I find posting on specialist pages to be more effective. As I said, I am looking into some sort of live online question-and-answer session and working out how to co-ordinate this.

People show themselves unboxing the proof they just received. Show it's quality of cover and interior. Of course discuss the topic and provide the link to buy it below the video. Some have also provided links on Pintrest. I think a well done video on Youtube with the right key search phrases would attract some attention Here is a guy I used to follow. Open another FaceBook account as an author. I have one (Jean-Paul G. POTET, author). All my titles are listed there. When a potential customer wants to retrieve a book of mine, all they have to do is open it.
